Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Civic Holidays – Whatever your denomination or preference!
I remember many years back producing seasonal TV spots and, in the early ’90s, saw the first inklings of production staff considering for the first time not to use “Christmas” in the ad copy to make it inclusive of our diverse Canadian tapestry. That created quite a grumbling among several senior managers at the time. Many terms were bantered about until “Happy Holidays” settled in to universally represent that special time.

We now live with chaotic media blasting out messaging, entertainment and subscriptions to us in the new “attention economy.” Take some time to clear some space in this zoo to call your own and share a small piece of yourself with loved ones!
